The United States applauds as African Americans excel in sports, music and acting, but for some reason corporate America will not let us be great. Breonna Taylor: Black Emergency Medical Technician

March 13, 2021 marks one year since Breonna Taylor, Licensed E.M.T. was tragically murdered in her home during a botched attempt by area law enforcement to serve a warrant on someone that was not there. According to a September, 2020 USAToday.com article, Breonna was a licensed EMT, enjoying a career working as a Medical Technician and essential worker at 2 local hospitals. 2021 Stimulus Plan to Fund 100,000 Healthcare Career Positions

The proposal earmarks funding for programs geared toward training and hiring local community members to perform positions created as a result of the pandemic; like Covid-19 testers and tracers. Then, ultimately transitioning these essential healthcare workers to long-term career positions providing community healthcare services in settings, such as a hospital, doctors' office or clinic. Not only has the invisible, yet very real virus cancelled life as we once knew; it also poses a viable threat to the careers of those who speak against or show hesitancy about taking what is now referred to as the 'jab'.
